3. K-5 Tutor : Work 1 on 1 with our elementary school aged students utilizing a multi-sensory and active learning approach.
current Volunteer opportunities
Live Through Rec values our volunteers and the crucial role they play in the success of our programs and mission to enhance the quality of life in others. Our volunteers will develop and build valuable skills for understanding and working with all people, including individual with special needs in an athletic and recreational setting that will prepare them for future employment at either Live Through Rec or another similar program.
New volunteers with Live Through Rec will be required to attend at least one initial training session, three refresher sessions, and at least 10 hours of on the field community service. The initial training session will introduce all aspects of the program and what is expected of them as a volunteer so that they can help fulfill the mission!
